Devs around the world are being pushed to release code faster than ever before – 83% of devs report significantly more code needing to be released than in 2021. This requires devs to incorporate new techniques into their pipelines to be able to compete, including CI/CD. CI/CD, which stands for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment is a rapidly rising new method to connect new code out to the consumer and consumer feedback into new code.
However, while many devs have seen the usefulness of CI/CD to smooth the process of getting code to client side, the mobile app developer ecosystem has yet to see this tech catch on. Mobile devs, with roughly 7.3 billion mobile users and 255 billion mobile apps downloaded in 2022 alone, need this tech more than anyone to keep up with massive demand.
