It’s posts like these that make me read every work Neil writes. It’s funny. I have made a lot of these mistakes and the reason I am still kicking is because I learned from them and moved one.
One more that almost ruined me was:
11. Too In Love With Your Original Idea
Sure, your idea got the company off the ground but don’t fall in love with it. So many entrepreneurs ride their original idea right into the ground. Ideas are starting points. They spawn other ideas. When you hire others, they will build upon your concept. Let them. Don’t micromanage the whole creative process just because you had the original idea. Let it go and it will grow beyond what you expected.
