I just starting following Jason over at A Smart Bear. I like his writing style and his analysis seems pretty good as well. His latest gives a lot of useful tips on how to garner more subscribers. As most of you know, I really dig graphs and he has a cool one right up front.
What really resonated with me is his equation for success (reprinted below):
Time × Luck × ( Being there ) == Success
Now, the proof is not mathematical but it does underscore an essential element that most people miss out on — You have to do stuff and continue to do stuff. Success has a lot to do with the churn on getting to be successful. You just don’t magically wake up one day and Bam!, here is your success. Great job Jason.
